Bridal Shower Cheerfulness
This morning I woke up to rain pouring down outside, and it seems that the usual November dreariness has set in. Seeing as my little sister got married a little over a week ago, I’m WAY past due for posting pictures from the bridal shower I threw this summer. It was my first chance to put Pinterest to the test, and I confess, I had way too much fun. You can check out the inspiration here.
Those heart shaped brownies are from Smitten Kitchen. I’ve never liked white chocolate, but I have to admit, I loved the white chocolate brownies better than the regular! Below, the jar is filled with yellow and red watermelon granita from the pioneer woman. So easy and ridiculously tasty!

Bridal shower games are not my favorite, but croquet seemed like the perfect Saturday afternoon companion to a glass of lemonade. The ladies were also kind enough to allow me to play a round of “bridal shower portraits.”
